What exactly is a Podcast and why did Core decide to start doing this instead of the typical online show?
A Podcast is nothing more than a pre-recorded radio show in mp3 format available for download. More or less, it is the same as what I was doing before. Rather than just having links to download the shows, I chose to do a Podcast because of it's RSS feed support. A RSS feed helps your web browser, iTunes, or other audio player to know when I've released new music, and then it will automatically get the new shows for you. You DO NOT need an iPod to listen to a podcast.
The simplest way to get my Podcast is to click the "MP3 Direct Download" link under the Episode tracklist on the Podcast page.
If you are a little more daring and wish to "subscribe" to my Podcast by using the link to the RSS feed below, your Podcast client will automatically pull the new shows in as they are released with descriptions and tracklists.
I use iTunes myself and to subscribe using iTunes, you simply copy the link below, go to iTunes, go to Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast. Paste the link below and you're on your way.
